We bought this to replace 20 year old kitchenaid appliances. The footprint is a little larger than expected but its spacious on the inside. The ice makers are great. The craft ice is really good. Its not as fingerprint proof as it claims and thats the reason for only four stars.

Within a year of owning both ice makers they broke and now that they are out of warranty we are left with just one ice maker. Unfortunately it doesnt produce enough ice so we also have a countertop ice maker. The countertop model makes just enough ice to fill the kids water bottles and my husbands and then it runs out.

I needed a counter depth fridge and this was the most storage of the ones I saw. I didnt need 3 kinds of ice but I actually use them all to my surprise. The shelf that slides out of the way for tall items is good but I need more tall item storage than that. The stainless steel doesnt show fingerprints but the black glass is always covered in prints. A good buy but could have improvements.

Very roomy for a counter depth.

The fridge is very roomy on the inside especially for a counter depth size. The fact that it doesnt have handles is taking me some time to get used to only because my last fridge had them. The mirror is prone to fingerprints but the stainless isnt. The water pressure on the water dispenser is good. The 4 different ice sizes is a nice feature. We feel so bougie with our craft ice The big drawer is big enough for our berry baskets. The freezer is pretty roomy and has 2 drawers and a bottom section. Half of one of the drawers is taken up with 2 ice containers. The water filter was easy to get to and easy to install. I really love the fact that it has a light bar at the top of the freezer drawer that comes on when it senses that youre nearby. I love that I can knock on the mirror and the light will come on. Its handy to see that the ketchup is better accessed by opening the door or vice versa. It saves on unnecessary door opening. Overall so far we are loving it. We are happy with the purchase.

One month and it is broken already My freezer stopped working then turned back on but keeps telling my ice is stuck then it says door is open. And the door is closed. Has an app that tells you to dump ice if not used regularly but it cant tell you the freezer is defrosted as an alert? Now my food in freezer is wasted as I didnt find out until I went into freezer.

Broke after 3 months Never Repaired

Broke after 3 months. Some internal fan broke down which stops the door ice maker from working. Terrible service from LG they kept sending the same maintenance rep who did nothing but order the wrong parts. On one of the visits from the repair guy he was supposed to be on the tech-only line with LG. The woman said she would not help and told him he just needed to order the right parts and hung up.This went on for a year and a half before we gave up on actually getting it fixed. 2 stars are because the fridge still has two other ice makers. Do not buy and especially DO NOT BUY FROM LG Photo of error code and pile of partsthat I still have.

First fridge delivered had damaged glass. Second fridge didnt work. LG sent repair crew. They put in new ice maker but the small ice didnt work. Put in new small ice maker but still didnt work. Put in new master computer board and everything works fine now. Product has good design but poor quality control at factory. Good customer support if buyer is patient and stays relaxed.

Great features with a caveat

We bought this refrigerator about half a year ago. It has some very cool features like the extra front door for easy access. But we also have had trouble with the freezer door. It started getting hard to open and we found that at certain temperatures water would melt and then harden on the tracks making it impossible to open the door. Finally we couldnt open the door at all so we had to have an LG repair person come in. He had to break the tracks to get the freezer door open so he has now ordered a new freezer door and tracks for us which hell be installing later this week.

I love this refrigerator well besides the ice maker in the door.... I have had this 13 months now and really loved it. About 2 weeks ago I got an error code and the ice in the door started melting. I called LG and of course its just out of warrenty but they offered to send out a service tech to fix it for 700 dollars. I did some research and found a lot of people said if you unplug it and let it thaw out and then restart this would fix the issue. So I did that and it did fix the issue for a week and then the error code popped back up again. I decided to just not use the ice machine in the door and a week later the fridge took a software update which fixed the error code somehow..... but again this fix only lasted a few days before again the error code showed up again and the ice in the door melted away. This seems to be a large design flaw with the ice in the door fridges. :

So far we are very impressed with the function of the refrigerator itself. Our main concern is the door that houses the ice maker. Even though we believe the refrigerator is level that door slams and does not close softly. If you close that door it shakes the entire refrigerator. I am hoping this is not a flaw that cannot be fixed.

Mostly our favorite fridge ever. Love the glass door. Learned to love the round cubes. One little problem and two bigger ones. Wish we could adjust shelf height a little more. Ice is slow. Got some trays for round ice and stay busy keeping the bin full during hot days. Have had repairs twice: once for seals and once for the fan. Runners wore out from ice build up when seals needed replacing. But we love the fridge and are very happy with it for over a year. Get the extended warranty.

Ice Maker does not keep up with 4 people in Texas Summer and could get no help from your eight hundred number except to reset the ice make and it did nothing to help

2.5 months old already have had problems with 2 of 3 ice makers. LG came out replaced the craft ice maker technician said mini ice maker going to need replaced but didnt have a repair order so he couldnt fix the mini cube ice maker. Called LG to get mini ice maker fixed it was refused because 1st repair order ticket still open. Called Lowes as where it was purchased 2 months ago manager helped closed 1st repair order. Was told LG will schedule to replace mini ice cube maker within 48 hours. 2 weeks later no call from LG. Went into Lowes to complain manager on duty was useless said not his duty to get it repaired it is up to manufacturer. So 3000.00 later 2 months ice maker still broken.

Nice refrigerator but

I have had this for almost 4 months. The refrigerator portion is great and the freezer is capacious.The craft ice however is another story. The balls are white on one side and that side has a salty sometimes bitter chemical taste. If I wash off the white area the ice is fine. But who wants to wash craft ice before using it every time? I have called LG repeatedly and always get a person in the Philippines who insists its my water. It obviously isnt because the mini cubed ice and crushed ice through the door is fine. The mini cube ice sensor arm broke a few weeks ago. The very gracious repair guy ordered a new one and installed it. He said the craft ice issue is due to the material in the icemaker tray it isnt worth replacing because a new unit would have the same material. The internet is full of people with the same complaints. I wouldnt have purchased this refrigerator had I known it would produce contaminated craft ice.

Nice but ice making isnt very good.

I like it for the most part but there is no point in having four kinds of ice at the speed it makes ice. 6 to 12 pieces of craft ice. The bin next to it also moves absurdly slowly. I have to have a countertop ice maker and surprised ice being made in a much colder environment is not anywhere near as fast. But again otherwise its great.

Horrible purchase- Bad choice - No support Help

Purchased in Feb 2024 and stopped working in May2024. LG has failes to send qualified repairman to fix appliance and after several customer service calls has failed to replace item. I spent $2000 where I am located for this appliance and I am out of hundreds of dollars in food expense for my family after throwing out several spoiled items.

The best fridge. And believe me I am on my fourth one in 8 years. Awesome delivery and set up even got helpful tips. Ice maker is great quick to make. I use a lot and always ran out in the last fridge rhymes with bamsung. Plenty of room for our two person household. Hard to kept front glass smudge free but IDC

Terrible customer service

I bought the refrigerator direct through LG with a 2 year warranty. It was defective when delivered. I called and emailed several times to their customer service and still have not gotten a response or help with issue.

Ice options galore

Love the bells and whistles in this refrigerator just wish it was a bit larger. Not a fan of having to move things out to reach items on the shelves in the back. This was one of the only refrigerators that would fir through our doorways and under our cabinet. we are enjoying the knock- knock feature and being able to open the beverage door for easy access to the items kept there coffee creamer for one. All of the ice options are great as well as the water dispenser.

Bought this refrigerator 8-9 months ago had a fan replaced for the door ice maker 6/17/24 and it just happened again on 7/20/24. Instead of sending part to replace the prior service tech is supposed to be coming out to check. Needs Replacing.

We have had this refrigerator for about 6 months and love it. We go through a lot of ice and water and this fridge delivers. With the craft ice lasting for hours. My only issue is the glass does collect fingerprints but that was not a surprise and was a tradeoff we liked versus the SS door. We like to be able to see inside and use the outer door routinely. We still comment on how much we love this fridge

Ive read all the reviews and horror stories about LG productshowever two weeks in were really digging it. DONT BUY Extremely slow warranty support. Flawed

Just under a year and there is a flaw inthe door wiring where upon opening and closing eventually the wire will wear through. This caused the wire to arc on the metal hinge frying the main board. This is covered under warranty however the process is extremelyt slow. We have escalated to Presidential team but nothing can be done until after 30 days What a joke. We are over 14 days already with out a working refrigerator and stuck. DO NOT BUY LG PROUDCTS.

An expensive mistake

FYI the extra ice bragged about here means less freezer refrigerator space. The shelves in the refrigerator are closer together and the only way to store a gallon milk jug is on the second shelf with half of the top shelf collapsed. Again FYI LG milk isnt supposed to be store on the door. It takes so incredibly long to make enough craft ice its existence is meaningless.

Love this fridge

WE love our new LG refrigerator and all of the great features. The ligted see through mirror door is a showstopper and the craft ice maker makes it all very fancy. Best of all it looks great and works fantastic. Easy to use and understand the features and has all the room we need with a counter depth size.

The refrigerator is good wish it was bigger the ice maker is much better than most makes good amount of ice. The craft ice is nice but not clear so water quantity does come into play but makes a nice amount.

We have bought this fridge for 6 months and struggled with it for 3 months since summer started. We were not able to open the freezer door. There were lots of ice buildup. And Now it doesnt make ice in this hot summer with 100 degrees. We have to go to store to buy packs of ice
