paid way too much for a dryer to only being used 10 months. i will never buy from samsung again. the glass door shattered causing us to lose an entire load of clothes as well as the dryer. samsung calls. it is a cosmetic issue which is ridiculous. this internal glass should never have broken the way it did. they will not on her guarantee! kept telling me to call back and i probably wasted about 16 hours on hold with them

dryer right at under 2 years old. we had to replace the heating element at 1 year mark and now we walk in laundry room to check clothes after two drying cycles as not drying and water all on floor!!!!

had dryer for 7 months now. dryer squeals as it turns, even with nothing in it. have had it out for repair for 1 month but not fixed. repair service that samsung uses in my area, will report as fixed, when they haven't even came back to repair. we are now on our 2nd repair service for same issue. would not recommend.

I should be able to put a full load of baby clothes and not travel the dryer shut off after 3 minutes. We found out that you can not put less than 3 full size towels in the dryer for it not to automatically shut off after 3 minutes. Thats obviously a defect.

Stopped working after warranty ended

we bought both this dryer and its matching washer and both units have had issues. the washer ended up needing to be replaced after six months and the touch panel on the dryer stopped responding a few days ago, of course right after the warranty expired. we called for service, but the ticket was cancelled because "there are no service centers in your area." so... we're stuck with a dryer that doesn't work, no support, and no idea where to go next. hasn't been the best experience for both the washer and this dryer. fwiwi... while it was working, it worked great. it does look great too!

Delivered broken

just bought this, the machine was delivered and installed, and the installing technician told me the machine was broken. great. so they came in and delivered my machine, told me it was broken, and told me to call samsung. now i have a broken machine hooked up. they wouldn't even reinstall my old machine which is still working. samsung support was very lackluster, who knows when it will get fixed or replaced.

the 'timed' setting is the best one. however it defaults to ecodry, which also does not work efficiently. a normal sized load takes an hour and a half to dry using ecodry, which isn't really the most efficient. 2 stars because none - zero - of the sensor settings even come close to drying laundry, whether a large or small load. if you don't mind it being damp, perfect, otherwise the single only setting that works is the timed setting. i love this lint trap and the lid-like device on it that keeps trapped lint from falling off and back down the cavity. excellent idea here!

We figured out the left side of the dial is damp sensitive so if the dryer senses there is no moisture it will turn off an the right side is manual so you can burn your clothes all you want. great dryer, but within the first 4 months i had to get it serviced. i would start the dryer but it would keep stopping . i would restart and again it would do the same thing. the tech recommended changing the display board, which solved the problem now it works awesome. shouldn't need service specially within the first 6 months
