This Dishwasher was another great Samsung purchase. It works great. I have well water, and my dishes sparkle no water stains. Everything comes out clean, past Dishwashers at times a second cycle was needed to get them clean. I'm satisfied with my purchase and recommend it. Best feature is sanitizing option!

After purchasing and using Samsung products found them to be less then reliable especially for the price I paid for them. Dishwasher rack roller broke in less then 1/2 year. Was told under warranty and then told wasn't covered. Samsung tech tells me nobody covers my location, that they had no techs in our area to service appliances. Had several problems with my 2 year old refrigerator and had to purchase and replace parts myself for same reason. Never will I buy another Samsung product.

Dishwasher constantly emits faulty codes

I've had this dishwasher a total of seven months and have been able to use it a total of two months due to fault codes. Then when I call to have it repaired I am given the runaround by Samsung to get it repaired. It still isn't repaired after I have jumped through all of their hoops. The dishwasher now emits a bad motor code and I can't get help. I am very disappointed in the dishwasher and definitely would not recommend a Samsung product at this time

Very nice and quiet. Cleans well. Nice looking. The top rack is a nice feature especially for larger utensils and small lids.

I bought this Dishwasher some time ago - I have replaced Magic Chef with Samsung Dishwasher and boy, what a difference in the features, noise level and more importantly I do not have any more random water leaks.

i can understand a few drops here and there after a wash but all of my tupperware is soaked after each wash. i have tried every combination wash. it is so wet that i am convinced there is something wrong with my dishwasher. for this amount that i paid i should not have to dry half my dishes after each wash. i run the water before the wash to make sure it starts with hot water and my water heater is turned up to scalding to see if that was it. not. i have where it keeps the door shut or pops it open. i have tried everything. so disappointed. plus there is not a dry only cycle.

terrible experience, dishes come out dirty and cascade pods come out on top of a plate without even dissolving!
i have to almost use 2 cycles for the dishes to come out clean.

I have had it since November. I like the optional top shelf, and the flexibility of the loading options. It is quiet and cleans well. But spray motor suddenly broke and had to be replaced . It was done quick and under warranty, but this has be worried a bit.

samsung's stormwash 48 dba dishwasher is a great addition to my kitchen! i put this fingerprint resistant dishwasher with its auto-release door through a rigorous trial with stuck on foods, tiny items and mixed items. all items came out clean. the small items stayed in place on the 3rd rack. this rack has holders for silverware which allow water jets to clean all sides. the 2nd rack is tall enough to wash a travel mug, yet the bottom rack is still deep enough for large items. two benefits are 1) it doesn't require much detergent; and 2) it is quiet! not soundless but is so quiet i don't notice it. there are six different wash options, ranging from rinse only to heavy. the stormwash feature pummels dirty pans to get them clean. no pre-washing necessary!

do not buy this dishwasher! we have had issues with it right from the get go. it was installed by samsungs technicians improperly and now they refuse to fix it. the door is supposed to crack open about an inch to vent the dishes when it's finished washing and the door flys open to the ground and the racks all fall out. we have broken numerous dishes because of this issue and samsung refuses to fix it. they sent a tech out to assess the damage and the tech reported that it was installed improperly and they won't refund us the money, replace the door, or fix the dishwasher. we have multiple samsung appliances and even phones and this is the last time i ever buy a samsung appliance again! so unimpressed with their customer service (or lack thereof).

we used to dishwasher for about a month when a disgusting odor started even the day after washing and silverware and knife set rusting. contacted samsung and they said the rusting was a cosmetic issue which it absolutely is not and would not be free to fix, which makes no sense. our silverware was expensive and now looks disgusting. the technican came and was not helpful and pretty much useless. he ran the dishwasher for 5 minutes and said nothing was wrong. this was an expensive dishwasher and a waste of money. samsung did nothing to fix the issue. i will never recommend a samsung product and will now advise people to get a different brand.

did a remodel and decided to replace my 10 year old dishwasher, which was still doing an excellent job. after the new one was installed, i discovered i couldn't pull out the utensil rack. upon closer inspection, i discovered that top was crushed and tray was getting caught on spray nozzle. but the worst issue with the dishwasher, is the fact that it must be ran immediately or the dishes will mold and create a foul odor after a couple of days. there are only two people in our household, so the dishwasher may only be ran once or twice a week. to prevent the mold and odor issue, i leave the door cracked open so air can circulate. i've owned several dishwashers in my lifetime and have never had to do this.

I purhcased this along with the entire Tuscan color set of appliances for my Utah home and this unit has worked flawlessly and runs quiet. The door opens during the drying cycle which is different but seems to work very well at drying the items inside.

i was so excited to receive this dishwasher, as it was the first one i've ever purchased. my previous dishwasher was from the 90s, and had finally died. i'd read that you could put dishes in without washing them, so i tried that first. false. they came out filthy, even when using stormwash and the sanitize settings. next, i tried washing the dishes first, and while that worked better, they still came out with food particles. i was shocked based on all reviews i read.
honestly, our dishwasher from the 90s cleaned better than this. we've had our new dishwasher for 6wks now, and i kept hoping that we'd "get the hang of it," but even after going thru all of the steps provided in troubleshooting, it still didn't work. i guess 6 weeks in, we'll need to request to have the device serviced. :(
