ive had the oven for a couple years and worked great when it worked. temp range on the oven is limited. i used this feature to prepare appetizers and regeat dinner rolls and crescent rolls. it just stopped working. prior to today it was working okay. i looked at the manuel but just talkes about the microwave. lesson learned…by separate. a cheap microwave and a toaster oven is more flexable.

garbage! failed 3 times and serviced by samsung. then failed out of warranty.
grill element will burn up wire connector insulation and basically catches fire for a second and blows fuse

i replaced all of the kitchen appliances with samsung. the dishwasher and oven/range is working great. the countertop microwave/oven quit working 13 months after purchase. called company, said its out of warranty. i am completly disappointed! a couple months after that the microwave above the range quit heating at full power, again out of warranty.

it takes a while to figure how to fully use this oven.
make no mistake. it's not just a microwave. it's a small 3 in 1 oven that contain a convection oven, grill, and microwave. the smart sensors can also combine the regular oven with microwaves.
coated in enamel makes it easy to clean.
two years after the magnetron died which is the unit producing microwaves. so sad.
but the magnetron has a 10 year warranty!
but the repair cost is as much as a regular microwave.
so, do we repair or get a regular microwave?

i bought this less than year ago and now it stops working. i use it for small task like warm up my coffee or lunch. the biggest problem that now i am trying to prove that i still have a factory warranty regardless i used samsung. a lot of phone calls and time i spent while trying to prove that my product still under factory warranty and no sucsess. one week gone..

we bought this samsung microwave in 2017 and it has worked well for us until today (october 17, 2020). when i walked into the kitchen i noticed that the display lights were out on the microwave. the gfci outlet was tripped off. i tried two other circuits and the gfci tripped the second the prongs of the cord started into the outlet. our microwave was manufactured in november 2026.
time to buy something new...
i really like the cooking options on this microwave and this combined is not easy to find.
i think appliances are just disposable these days.

i bought this microwave convention about 6 months and it's one of the worst products i've ever bought from samsung in the first month the touch panel shorted out. and just last month the power grilled stopped working and one technician came out and had to order the part which was 3 weeks ago and just yesterday the technician was supposed to replace the power grill but instead he broke the whole microwave as it doesn't heat at all now so it went from bad to worst. i need the microwave badly as they are remodeling my kitchen which means i don't have access to my oven at the moment. i won't ever buy another samsung appliance as they faulty by my experience as my oven range is also a samsung which has had issues also and they take forever to service an appliance.

purchased this directly from samsung september 2017. it worked fine until last week when it completely died. received repair quote that is close to or exceeds new purchase price. completely absurd. it's one heck of an expensive appliance if it only last a couple of years. samsung needs to do better with quality, warrantee coverage and service before i will feel comfortable buying from them again.

our microwave was delivered on june 05, 2019. we were remodeling the house, so we did not start using this new microwave till almost end of august.
in may the microwave power did not turn on. repair guy came in and had to order a part. he came back after few days and fixed the broken part.
on june 16, 2020 the microwave stopped heating food. called for repair again and now we wait. this will be the 3rd visit by a repair person for this microwave. the warranty runs out at the end of this month and based on the performance of this microwave so far, i'm going to have to purchase a new one soon.
what a waste of money!
i did not expect this kind of performance issues with samsung. i'm highly disappointed! :(

My previous microwave oven was a microwave/ pizza oven combination with the pizza oven on top of the microwave. It was great and we had it for years. When the handle on the pizza oven broke, I looked for the same microwave to replace it. No such luck. Rather than buy a microwave and a separate pizza oven, I went with this, thinking it will also replace the air fryer.
My cheap little $8 air fryer cooks faster and more evenly than this. As a pizza oven, it doesn't get hot enough, so it takes longer to cook. The racks it comes with are too small to hold a standard frozen pizza. As the crust thaws is folds over and wraps around the rack. Easy enough to get a pizza tray to solve that issue. Even so, the crust doesn't cook well.
As a convection oven, Was expecting things to cook a little faster than my regular oven. I made a gratin potatoes, and after an hour and a half, I still had 1/2 cooked potatoes.
Finally as a microwave, it only works sometimes. The tray will rotate and the light will be on, but nothing will cook. It may work one minute and not the next. When it does work, it cooks fast, it just only works 10% of the time.
I've had it less than a month and haven't tried the grill feature.

My wife and I bought this little microwave when we had to replace the old dinosaur we had been using that took up half of the counter top and only microwaved food. This Samsung microwave also microwaves, but it also will broil and air fry food too.

I purchased this on Feb 19, 2017, and today (March 1, 2018) the microwave stopped heating food. The convection oven still works. I'll go back to my 20 year old microwave and look at other products that aren't Samsung.

What would you have if you had a microwave oven, convection oven, broiler, toaster oven and hot air fryer? That's exactly what this oven gives you…all in just one space-saving appliance, not four or five eating up valuable kitchen counter real estate. I'd been looking to purchase a new micro/convection oven ever since my beloved old micro/convection oven gave out on me after 20 years. Those with experience using micro/convection ovens probably think ordinary microwave-only users are amateurs that don't belong anywhere near the kitchen. I was definitely in this camp and spent a long time looking all over the place for a replacement. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one that I really liked until I came across this Samsung product. At 1.1 cubic feet, it's big enough to cook a 12-inch pizza, yet it doesn't take up any more space than the 0.7 cubic foot microwave-only oven it was replacing. It also has enough features to keep a pro-level chef happy. It's quiet, has a bright blue display big enough to read all the way across my kitchen. At first, I thought it was a little quirky with the dial and all, considering most microwaves only have buttons. But when I realized that the dial gave access to other useful functions most other microwaves can only dream about and that the overall functioning of this oven is just as easy to learn as any other oven, I really fell in love with it. After working in a professional restaurant kitchen for a few years with superb but feature-poor (and expensive) micro/convection ovens, I'm surprised and very happy with this appliance. As with another reviewer here, I wish the product would have come with a cookbook covering a wide range of recipes (baking, grilling, etc.). By having such a book, I'd be able to adapt my own favorite recipes quickly. But I'm happy to experiment. Top marks for this appliance in all categories.

We have enjoyed the microwave feature and look forward to trying the other features. It's a little more difficult to use than some, but I keep the instruction manual near by. I'm sure it's more difficult as it has features that most microwaves don't have that require more set up than a push of a button. There were so many good reviews about it that I decided to purchase it as I was looking for a microwave/convection oven.

I haven't owned this product for a long time (3 Days), however it is a very powerful machine! I like that I can microwave two plates at once with the racks that are included and it comes with something called the "Crusty Plate" that did a great job on my slice of pizza that I re-heated. Most of the time re-heated microwave pizza comes out soggy but the "Crusty Plate" did its job and made my slice of pizza like it had just been delivered. I'm excited to try this convection/microwave combo on other items. Negative is it needs to have some space behind it for the convection to get the proper airflow.

For empty nesters who are used to having home-cooked meals this is the perfect appliance since we don't have to heat up the monster oven to bake a pie or biscuits. There is a learning curve but once you learn the basics the remaining steps are simple.

I needed a new microwave in black stainless to match all my new appliances in my new house. The fact that this one came convection style is an added bonus. Both the microwave and convection work as intended and does a great job. I don't do a lot of cooking in microwave but when needed the convection is a nice amenity to have.

Our old microwave convection died right before a party. Luckily, with a lot of research we found the Samsung. Although some people say the dial control is tricky to figure out, after quickly reading through the Convection page, I was cooking fried chicken within minutes, and it was very easy to use. I'll let you know how I feel about the drop-down door, since we have to mount it above the counter in a built-in slot.
