if you are on the fence about this tv then jump off... it's expensive but you do get what you pay for. the 4k upscaling to 8k is fantastic. uhd programs are insanely lifelike and the tv is exactly what i needed for an upgrade from my 3 year old 4k samsung. hit the youtube app and select some 8k video and prepare to be blown away. the only thing i struggled with is wall mounting instructions for the one connect piece could be better.

Durability issues and replacement concerns

the tv was admittidly perfect for the first 1.5 days of opperation. after that……switch controler to the screen and it wont boot up. $2400 estimate for replacement of the screen and drspite being a new product the replacement does not exist. i wont say not worth it, again great tv, but the lack of support is a huge turn off for further products here. as it stands the corpse of a tv will remain at the repair shop awaiting a chance encounter with a new screen but i was told it wont likely be soon……

Overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase of the TV. It not only checks all the boxes of me as a cutting edge gamer, but also covers the bases of ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for my wife. Samsung really thought about the future when putting out this TV. Externally, this thing is simply a beauty with it's bezel-less design, sleek and thin form factor, and even the eco-friendly steps such as the usb-C AND solar charging remote. This TV is truly a luxury, and is one of the best home theater experiences that is hard to beat or replicated. For those on the fence, trust me when I say it's worth jumping over. The grass is definitely greener, bright, AND clearer on the other side.

The HDR images are incredibly detailed and real

The Samsung is a masterpiece of technology and really brings the concept of a TV to a whole new level. The TV is able to be so thin and flat because the components, hookups, and power are all external in the One Connect which attaches with a single very thin wire. It's an engineering marvel and quite an accomplishment to send all the signals and power through a wire that is not even a 1/4" in circumference! This feature alone makes the TV worth purchasing as it allows the Samsung QN800A to hang on a wall and all your devices can be in a cabinet with just a single wire to the TV. Once you turn on the TV you will notice the picture quality and brightness, everything is sharp and vibrant and what you would expect from 8K. The TV remote is small and simple to use with an interface that is intuitive. I really liked the Samsung TV Plus which provides a bunch of live TV channels and is the answer for the cord-cutters out there. It even comes with a Guide so you can pick and choose what you want to watch easily. The Multiview feature is really interesting. Also with the Smart Things integration, all my other Samsung devices like the Powerbot vacuum and washer and dryer show up and are available, it is the hub for a truly smart home! Samsung has done an amazing job and at the top of their game. This is the best TV I've ever experienced and the features technology, and style just can't be beaten.

Sometimes when I play on my Xbox series X the screen flicker in and out randomly sometimes it could have been more clear than what's advertised on top of that when I turn it on the backlights get stuck and I have to re turn it on and all of them don't come on sometimes randomly I prefer the LG CX OLED or LG C1 the best TV on the market right now and I like to mention I received the TV it had no protective film over the screen I have multiple scratches to be paying a $5,000 price tag for this TV to have scratch deep scratches on the screen and only returned $250 so never get TV shipped go buy it physically and hopefully your TV work as accordingly I used to have Samsung back in the day with their q6fn I really liked it but this TV seems a little off I'll stick with LG i feel like I wasted my money and they don't have Dolby Vision LG CX OLED CHEAPER AND IT have 4K 120 hertz Dolby Vision support with Vrr included!

First off I'd like to say that Samsung got this one right. We have so many Samsung devices in the house it only made sense to make the choice and only purchase Samsung televisions at this point moving forward. The clarity of the screen is what really sold us on this purchase. I love how fluid the menus are and how fast the television connects to the internet as soon as it's turned on. The apps also work flawlessly and streams so well. Another thing that really caught our attention was the Dynamics of the volume. We can turn the TV down to such a low setting in the clarity is perfect.

The picture is great, but the Hulu app freezes and the time in the guide is off by one hour. The correct time shows though correctly. It also has issues with hdmi ports #1 freezing with a streaming device and control freezes or you just get a black screen. My remote stop charging by solar cell and the battery has to be charged by the usb port. It is in a sun lit room. I have contacted support and they are shipping me a new remote, but they say it's my streaming device is bad. It works in others TVs just fine. Not what you expect from a $5k TV.

Well we have it the living room for family movie time for all of us to and my kids love to play in the living room because they love the way it look,,,and,,,sounds with the games....The only sad part the couldn't believe it that we were having good time and it just turn off on us and we look at it and didn't to turn back on was so sad am one off person like to take care because it's so hard know days to buy thing that they are expensive and not taking care and have it there could fix it money guise soooo who could help fix it please

Its gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous in every single way. No loss of color at wide viewing angles. No blooming. Gaming features are amazing. QSymphony works great. 4 HDMI 2.1 ports means i can get the most out of both of my next gen consoles. The brightness and color accuracy are also incredible. Love this TV. I put a Govee Immersion light strip on the back which just further enhances the experience with movies and games. Hands down best tv for bright rooms. I do get why the rainbow effect from direct light hitting the antiglare coating bothers some people, but its far from a deal breaker for me personally.

got the 65" 8k tv and recommended 7.2 soundbar. hdmi ports on the tv seem too slow for 8k@60 or 4k@120 so the picture goes black unless i force the ps5 to lower settings. tv fails to stay connected to the soundbar, audio cuts out with bt, wifi or optical. audio setup changed by itself (bad firmware?) now voices come through quiet or it goes silent. i've unplugged speakers, tried every tv setting, nothing helped. multiple hdmi cables (all claim to be rated for 8k), no luck. new speaker firmware didn't help. i regret the $5500+ i spent on this setup. many samsung products without issue, these are a disaster. i've factory reset the tv twice in 2 months. maybe doing it again will fix it for a little while.

This TV is great to look at with resolution and all the different colors and new features. I enjoy playing my PC and Xbox Series X on it. As soon as I plug in the Xbox Series X the TV recognized the system. This TV isn't too far off from the Samsung Q900R. Just minor upgrades but needed upgrades. This is my second 8K TV from Samsung and they just keep getting better with these TVs.

The picture quality of this tv is amazing! I had an old tv that needed replacing, so I got this one. It's crazy to see how great the quality is compared to my old television. The picture is just so vivid. And I love the built-in features like Samsung TV Plus. I haven't had cable in forever, and with this feature, I don't even have to use my antenna. I also love the slim profile of the tv. And the fact that the remote is rechargeable via a USB C or solar-powered is just amazing. Set up was quick and easy. Though it recommends two people, I was able to fully set up my tv by myself. So incredibly happy with this purchase. My visitors have commented on how sleek the tv looks and how vivid the picture is. I almost hate to upload these pictures because my pictures (not a photographer lol) do not do this television justice!

WOW! This tv is a beast and certainly earns its top model name and price! From the way this is boxed to the remote and stand quality you can see why this is the king of Samsung TVs. Although there really is no 8K content out currently the picture is beautiful and the upscaling for gaming and even regular cable is incredible. I have typically NOT been a fan of Samsung televisions as the brightness is usually over the top and takes away from the realistic picture. While this model is extremely bright, that can be turned down and after messing with some settings this is the most realistic picture I've gotten from a television. I can't think of one thing that's not good about the picture. Motion is also incredible. There's pretty much no jumping or jitter as words go across the screen or when watching hockey or baseball. Very smooth and crisp. All 4 HDMI inputs are HDMI 2.1 which is a nice touch for the new generation game consoles and they look absolutely AMAZING on this tv. I'm not huge into using the smart functions on TVs since I use different streaming devices but just doing a quick browsing and messing around with the software it seems pretty smooth and fast as well. To go back to what I said in the beginning about the remote and stand. First: the remote having a solar panel on the back for charging is very premium and a nice touch. You still get a usb c port on the bottom in case you want to fast charge it but you can feel and see that this remote is for the top tv. It functions well and gives you all the basic functions you need in a remote as well as a few streaming app buttons on the bottom. The stand is heavy and you can tell it's made out of strong materials and is very sturdy as the tv doesn't wobble at all while attached to it. Overall I can't really find one thing negative to say about this tv. Samsung really stepped up there game and it's always a great when flipping this baby on and running some games on it.

Samsung QN900A Review

The TV is fantastic. I have another Samsung TV that is just a few months old but the unpacking, pictures and features seems to be even better now. The unboxing was very easy, easy to remove and setup. I thought the tv stand, although a very good idea, was not super intuitive directions wise. I think it would be good to note on the packaging for the remote that it can be charge via solar power. I did think it was odd, for a TV listed at approx 5k that it did not include a USBC remote. Not a big deal, but kind of strange. As far as the TV goes though, the color is unreal. I love crispness of the blacks. The lighting is perfect via the adaptive picture configuration. The single source to TV - Uconnect separate source is an innovative idea. The audio has come such a long way that we turned the tv on, and decided we liked the TV audio better than the soundbar sound. We use the TV for streaming movies from multiple sources with fantastic results. The Sports viewing on this TV is amazing also. I use it to watch, golf in particular but also baseball and hockey. The clarity of the picture is second to none. Lastly, the App setup has also improved - use of codes as opposed to having in to Apps is a nice feature.

The screen is bright, the blacks are pure dark blacks, and for gamers with the latest and greatest gaming consoles with enhanced graphics and a 4K UHD Bluray drive it upscales the 4K UHD Blu-rays to a lifelike experience! The QN900A is your dream TV! Everytime I turn on the TV I'm impressed!. I tweeked the settings a bit for my iving room and lighting environment but for the most part it was near perfect right out of the box. When I watch broadcast or cable TV stations, everything seems so detailed and natural. For pay streaming services that have shows in 4k they are even more detailed and crisp than when I viewed them on my older 4K TV. The QN900 upscaling with the Quantum Mini LEDs to 8K really makes everyone look amazing! For gamers, this is the TV you want to have! There is a game mode setting that is customizable and if you have a PC, some games will even allow you to wide screen them! For my next gen gaming console though it makes the games pop! The graphic quality is so vibrant and detailed when I'm running around in game makes me not want to put down my controller, except when I need sleep! This TV is the future, now!
