Nice television, but could be better

i love this television, however i have come to hate some things about it. when i change input to play a video game, game mode comes on, as it should. when i am done, i shut off gameing system, and then the television. the next time i turn on television, i get a pop up window saying my television can broadcast in a higher resolution, would i like to change resolution? i click yes and confirm. after that... every time.. the television and the sould bar play at the same time. i have changed sound output to optical ( samsung sound bar) but the television reverts back to television speakers all the time.

Unreliable and fragile

arrived with obvious dark (left 25%) and bright (left-middle 25%) regions on the screen. after copious adjustments to settings and troubleshooting it was clearly an issue with the durability of the panel itself or an unbelievable fragile backlighting system. i loved samsung and have countless products from them, but we could not possibly be more disappointed with this specific tv. my kids are apoplectic!

Great picture terrible complex

i have one and so does my father. the tv remote is trash. no one can figure out how to negotiate the tv with it. i have to visit my elderly father and unscrew tv issues monthly. settings are so difficult to figure out that he is repeatedly has a tv that won't function until i come fix it. this has been a nightmare for my dad who is stuck at home with my bed ridden mother. tv is all he has for entertainment. i so don't recommend this tv. samsung is so busy being state of the art that the tv is nonfunctional.

I am impressed with the quality of the picture even with regular TV channels. The smart apps are great and there are a lot of features. It took me a while to get used to the remote since there are very few buttons on it.

Received the TV several days after ordering turned it on to test, the interface was simple to operate, maybe because I have a 65 inch with a similar remote? Sound quality is not bad for a TV but still will need a sound bar. Picture quality is awesome you feel immersed in the large screen. Would recommend thought About purchasing the 85 inch just didn't seem worth the $500 for an extra 3 inches

This TV has been great for our home. It's exactly what we hoped for in our room we watch the most television. We hoped for a larger tv with higher end features and picture, and that's what we got. No regrets at all with the purchase. There are definitely tv's out there with better picture, but we understand the cost associated with those. One feature I thought was provided but later learned was not included was connecting the tv to Amazon "Alexa". That would be nice to have, but not a necessity. No complaints from us.

We decided to upgrade our living room TV from a 65" Samsung to this 82" Samsung, and we have been very pleased with the clarity, size, and value. The screen is huge but looks more like a piece of furniture and not a clunky, over-sized TV. The clarity is what drew us to this model, and it performs wonderfully during live action sports. We were able to score it for a value almost similar to what we paid for the 65" Samsung a few years ago. Highly recommend to anyone considering a refresh!

I've been using this TV for a few weeks now and I have to say I'm very impressed. The picture is amazing, but that's not even what impresses me the most. This is now one of the most intuitive pieces of electronic equipment I own. Once the TV was out of the box and plugged in, I got started integrating all the other external components with it (digital cable box, Blu Ray, video game console, etc.). As soon as I plugged in each component, the TV automatically syncing with each one by itself. There was no need to manually program each one, including the remote controls. The remote control for the TV is literally the only one I need. All the remotes for my other pieces of equipment are all put away out of sight. Back to the picture, it is really pretty amazing. I bought this TV for the movie theater room I just set up in my house, and it does not disappoint. The picture is absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this TV. I actually bought another, smaller one for my master bedroom.

This TV replaced a 70" TV. We really love this TV. My husband just mentioned this past Sunday when watching football "it seems 3D". It seemlessly connects to the internet for netflix, etc. Something we had lots of problems with on our old TV. Personally I'm a Samsung person, I have their phones, TVs and computers and they all connect thru SmartThings. Very happy with this purchase, picture is remarkable, ease of use is great!

The TV looks great! I love that it has all of the features of a smart streaming device built in and the ability to make advanced adjustments for the more savvy user. The alexa integration needs some work. Once the TV is on, I can ask Alexa to turn up and down the volume, but I can not get the TV to turn on or off via Alexa. All said, i am very happy with the TV.
