Recently purchased 2 of these Onyx pedestals for our brand new Samsung washer & dryer; purchased all together. While I think the appliances should stand taller by themselves, they do stand as tall as our old top load W/D. The pedestals are like the icing on the cake! As beautiful, classy & sexy as these appliances are, the pedestals just add to the functionality, convenience and overall visual appeal. I don't need to bend down very much to access clothes in dryer or washer to add/remove clothes......wonderful! The price seems a bit high adding about 25% to the cost, but overall still worth it. Samsung should offer a package deal of some sort. These are not cheap junk, very well made. I feel like we can expect them to hold up for the life of the appliances.....15 years? More? WE LOVE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ❤️
